Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Chat & Vent (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. What the App Does

Chat & Vent connects you with other users at random for anonymous, mutual-consent conversations. A chat only opens when both people agree to it. You can also add people you've matched with as friends for an ongoing conversation.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Share illegal content, or content involving the exploitation of minors.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your age.
• Send spam, scams, or attempt to solicit money or personal financial information.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the App or its infrastructure.
• Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable law.

4. Reporting, Blocking & Enforcement

You can report or block any user directly from the App. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice. Ban records may be retained even if the associated account is later deleted, to prevent abuse.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the messages and profile information you submit. By sending a message, you grant us the license needed to store and deliver it as part of operating the App. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior that harms other users, or for any other reason at our discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular match or outcome will occur.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or from your interactions with other users. You use the App, and interact with people you meet through it, at your own risk.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
